Hello, I'm Lori Bolejack. Single mother to an amazing son. Christ follower that believes love includes all neighbors no matter their gender, religion, color, or sexual orientation. Cat mom to three adorable babies: Tigger, Roo, and Eeyore.
On January 21, 2015 I lost the majority of my ability to move my upper left extremity without difficulty or pain. After a couple years of constant tests, I was diagnosed with a rare neurological disorder, Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS). Over time the disease spread and I struggled to leave my bed.
Then, I found my love for reading again. Granted, I had to make some adjustments as I am unable to hold a book. Therefore, I turned to ebooks and with the dark mode setting enabled, and my iPad pillow to hold my phone, I found my reprieve.
My mindset started to change, my energy increased, and I had found joy yet again. The more I read the better I felt, the more I wanted to read. I started following authors, joining online book clubs, and after a while a friend suggested I write book reviews.
Quickly thereafter I found Advanced Reader Copies (ARCs) and was getting approvals constantly. I knew I had found something special. I found a purpose and Literary Lioness was born.
I cannot wait to share my experiences and love of books with you and I look forward to making life long connections.
